This lot is women-produced. Founded in 2010 by young people in the community who had grown up in coffee and were looking for opportunities to create sustainable livelihoods in Chiapas rather than immigrate to the United States.
The majority of the 300 members are young people and women who are able to access better markets and financing as well as technical assistance and social projects through the cooperative.
This coffee was grown using organic practices by certified organic producers at origin.
